Yesterday we heard a report from Star Magazine [via Radar] that Ray J was sitting on a ton of explicit photos and videos of the late Whitney Houston, taken during their several year on-off relationship. Allegedly Whitney’s family had asked Ray J to hand over the goods and he was being cagey because he knew how much potential cash he could make for selling them. This was a completely plausible story since Ray J already has a sex tape out, which was Kim Kardashian’s famous career-launcher. (Although it’s hard to recognize her from her 1.0 face.)
Well now Ray J is denying all that. His rep calls the story a “despicable tabloid report” and says that no sex tape or photos exist.
The R&B singer’s camp is calling bunk on rumors that he’s been looking to cash in on a gold mine of sex tapes and explicit photos of himself with Whitney Houston before the latter’s untimely death.
“The despicable tabloid report released today claiming the existence of a sex tape between Ray J and Whitney Houston is not true,” Ray J’s rep, Courtney Barnes, tells E! News. “This story along with so many others have been released to sell magazines. There is no sex tape or explicit photos.”
Word that Brandy’s little brother and the legendary diva, who were casually dating, had filmed themselves getting hot and heavy was first reported by Star, which quoted an alleged insider as saying Houston’s family had reached out to Ray J to make sure none of the footage got out to the public and damaged Whitney’s legacy.

Well I’m not really buying it. It’s easy enough to have a rep feign outrage in a written statement. I don’t want to consider too many details of this story, but it’s not astretch to think that a dude who made millions off a sex tape with a famous woman would make sure to tape it sometimes when he had sex with another famous woman. Also let’s face it, Whitney was out of it a lot of the time. She was an addict and that’s what ultimately took her life. By denying the existence of these tapes and photos of Whitney, we can assume that if they exist Ray J doesn’t intend for them to see the light of day. Maybe someone from Whitney’s estate slapped him with a cease and desist. Here’s hoping.
